By adopting a vegan lifestyle, you have made a choice to impact the world in so many beautiful ways.  You are making great strides in promoting sustainability, protecting the environment, and preserving the future of our planet.  You are sending out messages of peace, love, and kindness by prioritizing compassion for fellow beings.  You are taking action in the most meaningful of ways by choosing to live life as a vegan.  Even if you are not fully vegan, but are beginning to lean towards this lifestyle, I welcome you here and thank you for every effort you are making.

My wish is to shine some of that love and light back on you by helping you to be the healthiest, most vibrant version of you so that you may thrive.  One of the best ways to achieve optimal health and nutrition is through a whole food plant-based vegan diet.

I have written a guide to help get you started if you are new to the idea of a Whole Food Plant-Based diet and want to learn how to begin. WFPB Starter Guide.

I am a Registered Nurse with a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition through eCornell and the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies.  I have over 7 years of experience enjoying the benefits of eating a whole food plant-based diet and have discovered an intense passion for educating others on this transformative lifestyle.

Working as a nurse on a busy medical-surgical unit of our local hospital, I have seen firsthand how food choices affect health.  The foods we eat on a daily basis have the ability to either promote or prevent, and even reverse, many of the most common and debilitating diseases.  While plant-based nutrition isn’t being utilized nearly as much as it should be as part of the treatment protocols in the mainstream medical system at this time, YOU have the power to take control of your own health.  I am here to support you through this process.  Check back often for nutrition education, holistic wellness information, and tips on making a whole food plant-based diet blend seamlessly into your lifestyle.

Here’s to your health!
