What is Kangen Water

Kangen water is a medical-grade, in-home, water ionization machine that produces 7 different levels of alkalized, hydrogen-rich water.  Produced by Enagic International, a Japan-based company and leading manufacturer of water ionization systems for over 4 decades, Kangen water machines are transforming tap water in homes and businesses across the globe.  

Kangen machines produce 5 types of alkalized ionized water.  The alkalized drinking water ranges from 8.0-9.5 on the pH scale.  pH stands for ‘power of hydrogen’.  The higher the pH of water, the greater the power of hydrogen.  

Why is this important for our bodies?  Well, these hydrogen ions act as antioxidants which protect cells from the damage caused by free radicals by binding with them so that they’re no longer able to scavenge the body in search of other electrons to pair up with.  While free radicals are naturally produced in the body, there are many external factors that expedite their production these days such as diet, environmental toxins, drinking, smoking, and chronic stress.
