Looking for a healthy yet creamy and delicious dressing that goes with anything? Then you’ll love this vegan creamy greek dressing recipe that I’ve created.
It’s made from simple ingredients – most of which you’ll probably already have in your kitchen – and the best part of all is that it takes around two minutes to make if you’ve got a high-speed blender!
If you don’t have a high-speed blender but you’re in the market for one, I highly recommend a Vitamix if you can afford it.
If you have a passion for cooking, and you do it everyday, this piece of equipment will be a worthwhile investment. Not only will it make it a breeze to make the smoothest sauces and lump free vegan nut cheeses and soups, it will also save you time and increase your cooking pleasure.

No high-speed blender? Just soak your cashews overnight or for a few hours, which will soften them and make it easier to blend.
Now onto the recipe!
The creamy base comes from cashews, which lend the perfect texture while having a pretty neutral taste. This allows the other flavorsome ingredients to really shine.
We’ve got a sharpness from the red wine vinegar, savory flavors from the garlic and herbs, tartness from the lemon, salty from the soy sauce and that old vegan favorite – nutritional yeast, which gives a hint of cheesiness.
As you can see from the pictures, we love using this dressing over a warm roasted vegetable salad but you could use it on almost anything.
Other ideas include drizzling it over falafels, spooning it over a quinoa buddha bowl or using it as a dip for crudités.

Vegan Creamy Greek Dressing
Ingredients
- ½ cup raw cashews
- ½ cup water
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
Instructions
- If not using a high-speed blender, soak the cashews for a couple of hours or overnight. Drain and place in the blender.
- Add rest of ingredients and blend on high for a few minutes or until creamy and smooth without any graininess.
